Connecticut State Quarter Ring
Connecticut State Quarter Coin Ring
Handcrafted from an authentic 1999 Connecticut State Quarter, this coin ring transforms a genuine piece of U.S. currency into a wearable tribute to The Constitution State. Its design features Connecticut's legendary Charter Oak, connecting the ring to one of the state's best-known stories of independence.
Whether Connecticut is home, part of your family history, or simply a place that holds special meaning, this handcrafted coin ring offers a unique way to carry that connection with you.
History
The Connecticut State Quarter was released in 1999 as the fifth coin in the 50 State Quarters Program. Connecticut became the fifth state to ratify the Constitution on January 9, 1788.
The reverse features the Charter Oak, the enormous white oak traditionally associated with the preservation of Connecticut's Royal Charter in 1687. According to the famous story, the charter was hidden within the tree to prevent its seizure by representatives of King James II.
The original Charter Oak eventually fell during a storm in 1856, but its image remains an enduring symbol of Connecticut's independence and history.
When transformed into a ring, portions of the spreading branches, lettering, and original coin details wrap around the band, giving each Connecticut coin ring its own character.
Available Ring Size
Sizes 4–13
Select your desired ring size when ordering. Each Connecticut State Quarter Coin Ring is individually formed and sized by hand from a genuine U.S. quarter.
Because every ring begins as an actual coin, variations in lettering placement, imagery, wear, patina, and surface character are natural. No two coin rings are exactly alike.
Why Can't I Choose the State AND the Year?
Each state design was produced during its designated year as part of the 50 State Quarters Program.
For Connecticut, that year is 1999.
That means an authentic Connecticut State Quarter Coin Ring will always be made from a 1999 Connecticut quarter. A Connecticut State Quarter from another year does not exist.
State or Year?
Choose the Connecticut State Quarter Coin Ring when the place matters most - whether it represents home, family, college, a favorite destination, or Connecticut roots.
Choose a Liberty Year Quarter Coin Ring when a specific date tells the story, such as a birth year, anniversary, graduation, wedding, or another important milestone.
